I’d like to introduce you to my family, I saw your rental listing and would like to meet you and see the property if you’d be interested in having us as tenants.
My name is Gary, I'm an artist and animal lover. My wife, Betsy, is also an artist. We've been married for 4 years and have been making art professionally for almost 8 years now. Betsy and I met in LA where we lived until 2015; since then we've been enjoying some time in Northern California. We're looking forward to getting back to LA and we are looking for a rental to call home.
Our family is completed with 2 rescue dogs and a Siberian cat. I spent 5 years working with dogs as a dog trainer/dog daycare attendant/dog walker after college. This experience taught me how important it is to have well behaved dogs, it also continued my passion for being an ambassador for rescue dogs.
As artists we are able to work from home, which means our pets are well looked after and aren't left alone for long periods of time. And because we used to live in LA we still have a wonderful network of friends and family who are willing to look after them if/when we travel.
Betsy VanDeusen
Betsy is an artist, her work focuses on hummingbirds. Not only does she hand feed hummingbirds, she also creates custom feeders and educates her audience about how they can feed and watch hummingbirds in their area.
Gary Lockwood
Gary is an artist best known for transforming sneakers into one of a kind masks. Sounds crazy to some but he's been doing it full time for almost 8 years now. You can see his work on FreehandProfit.com.
Hank (blue) and Thor (red & white) are our 2 rescue dogs. They are both mutts but we are aware some buildings have breed restrictions. Hopefully your building welcomes responsible pet owners.
With a dad with dog training experience we are well behaved and don't make messes in the house. We're both mellow and total snuggle bugs.
Digby, our Siberian cat, is the boss. The dogs answer to him.
These moments make me think of that Bill Murray line from Ghostbusters, "Dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria!" Nothing weird about it in our house.
